Crow & Quill
Writing to process—and processing the writing.
Essays on questions that won’t relent—messy, dark, hopeful, and rarely simple.

Hi, I’m writing as Crow & Quill
I’m a writer who uses writing to process—questions, ideas, worries, pain, and whatever else gets stuck in my head. My brain rarely stops, and writing helps me make sense of the noise. Sometimes that process is messy, heavy, or dark. Sometimes it’s uplifting and hopeful.
This is a space for nuance and complexity—for resisting easy answers and binary thinking, and for following an idea far enough to see what else might be hiding inside it.
I’m also a fiction writer, drawn to the craft of storytelling and the long, strange process of turning a manuscript into a novel worth reading. So alongside essays and ideas, you’ll occasionally find reflections on what I’m reading, what I’m learning about fiction, and what the work is teaching me.
Crow & Quill is where those threads meet: curiosity, craft, and the belief that sometimes the clearest way to understand something is to write your way through it.

Which Chains Break
A literary thriller that explores how childhood trauma holds four lives chained to the past and to each other. Each finding ways to survive, to hide the scars. But what once saved them now threatens them. Our skeletons never stay buried — we are bound to our past, and its pain ripples into the present.
Excerpts and sneak peeks coming soon to Substack. The full book is still being written — slowly, painstakingly, and passionately.
